The Ultimate Custom Cross Stitch

Some people do not like doing cross stitch or just do not have the time to do it. That does not mean you cannot participate however and it certainly should not preclude you from enjoying a beautiful wall-hanging in your home.

Other people want to have custom size work done for them. We have a select few people working with us who would be happy to do the work for you.

You want to guess what we did?

We created a life sized custom cross stitch of their wedding picture.

We have other surprises coming for you soon but we are not going to give away all of our secrets here.

Some of them even require extensive sewing, construction and patterns above and beyond just making the custom cross stitch patterns.

This entire project was the brain child of Ruth T. She has been doing cross stitch for over twenty years as a hobby and as a business. She currently has three people that assist her with custom work but there are many others waiting in line to audition for the job.

Audition?

We do not let just anybody work on our cross stitch patterns. We are even more particular about who works on yours. When you have a fully customized cross stitch made for you, you are commissioning a true work of art. As such, we are very particular about who we allow to work on them.

Each work of art comes with a certificate of authenticity and the name of the person(s) who brought your pattern to life. We usually try to limit it to one person working on each pattern. However, some of the patterns that people have requested are entirely too large for one person to complete with any speed at all. Art, like fine wines cannot be rushed but we know you do not want to wait two or three years to get your work done.

How much does it cost?

How long does it take?

We put these two sections together for a reason. Custom work can be relatively cheap or really expensive. It can be completed in short order or take literally years to complete. It all depends on how intricate the pattern is and how large it is, what size the aida cloth is and the thread count. We will provide you with weekly, bi-weekly or monthly updates including photographs showing the actual progress being made with your pattern.

I want to keep my pattern private!

We offer the option of uploading artwork to be converted to custom cross stitch patterns or the option of simply creating a single pattern for personal use. The second option of keeping the cross stitch pattern private in order to have a one of a kind work is especially common when it comes to the ultimate in custom cross stitch.
