The Cross Stitch Web Site
Cross stitching and needlepoint are very popular hobbies, past times and even job opportunities for many people world wide. At The Cross Stitch site, we are making every effort to bring you the latest and greatest in cross stitching, patterns and like-minded people. However, in order to make it a truly unique experience, we are also going to be integrating new features into this site to allow (and even actively encourage) you to participate. When The Cross Stitch web site is up and running in full force, we think you will find some great opportunities to share your creativity with the rest of the world and earn some money by showing people what you have to offer. In the meantime, we will be working diligently on getting this site up and running. Sample Cross Stitch Patterns now available for your review We have started posting some of the patterns we have up on the site. They are not broken down by category yet as we would have to replace all of those once the store is up and running. However, if you would like to see what types of things you can do with photography and art based cross stitch patterns, please visit the contributor's section and click on a contributor's name to see some of the cross stitch patterns that they have created to date. Please bookmark this page and come back often. Thank you for your patience and we hope to be up and running very soon! The Cross Stitch Team Do you have old and fading photographs that you would like to preserve for your posterity? One of our primary contributors has many photographs which have faded over time, yet still he wishes to preserve them in time before they fade away completely. This is a completely untouched pattern created with one of his old photographs. You will have the opportunity on The Cross Stitch web site to actually doctor your photographs and paint out any of the old scrape marks, fading and even add your very own colors. On our sample pages, you will find images that have been doctored and we will show you what you can do in addition to simply having an incredible wall hanging in your home. Imagine being able to create new and improved images from the existing photographs that you already own. Imagine being able to go from this

Just imagine what you could do with your photographs if you were willing to spend a little time "making them pretty" first! The following image is cropped so that it will show up without the "tartan plaid"
